“Day Two: Write a List
Today, write your own list on one of these topics:
Things I Like
Things I’ve Learned
Things I Wish
Things You’re Good At
There are no rules, though it might help to decide in advance how many items you’d like to include, or set a timer, so you have boundaries within which to work. For example, a list of 10 or 25 or 50 (or more!) items, or intervals of 15, 30, or 60 minutes are appropriate.”

I decided to limit my list to the items in my garden that I like. I didn’t give myself a time limit. I had an obsessive thought about photographing all of the things, then reality said, “no one likes pictures of dark shadows taken in the evening,” so you are a lucky duck tonight.

I have a friend who called me a master gardener. Another friend said I have a green thumb. I just think grass is an invasive weed that needs to be replaced by the items on my list. These are photos from last year or the year before that.

  1. Nice pics of your foliage! I have never had a green thumb. I have the uncanny ability to kill anything green I touch. Scary!

Such an inclusive list. My Grampa & Gramma had a wonderful garden many years ago. Such fond memories. Thank you for sharing to remind me of that!

    Blessings.

    1. Thank you. I had to start with really hard to kill plants like spider plants and peace lily. After trial and error, you grow what doesn’t die or you. I cant’ keep ferns alive. I keep trying, but it was not meant to be. 😉

Any thoughts on the above post are appreciated! Otherwise, I think I must be living under a rock.
